UAE Denies Visa Ban Rumors for Pakistani Nationals

Official Statement on Visa Rumors: Speaking at an event in Karachi, UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi dismissed allegations that the country had stopped issuing visas to Pakistanis. “A lie has been propagated for two years that the UAE was not issuing visas to Pakistanis,” he stated. He encouraged applicants to visit UAE visa centers to process their requests.

Support for Pakistan: The envoy highlighted the Emirati government’s directive to support Pakistan, emphasizing ongoing investments and upcoming positive developments in bilateral relations within the next two months 

Rebuttal Against Media Reports: Last week, Pakistan's Embassy also denied media claims suggesting the UAE government proposed visa restrictions during a cabinet meeting. The embassy labeled such reports as baseless. 

Warning Against Misinformation: Dr. Remeithi reiterated warnings to Pakistani expatriates against spreading false information or propaganda on social media. He noted that digital footprints can lead to consequences, including visa rejections or bans. 

Strengthened Cooperation:This assurance aligns with previous UAE statements rejecting visa ban rumors and reflects the nation's focus on fostering a collaborative relationship with Pakistan.
